INJURY TIME

Today the day of injuries and

Post and during my workouts noticed a few things so to say.
Acute pain on the inside of my lower right calf towards 500 jumps on the rope... not sure if muscular or tendon.. but wondering if i should be resting this as its the second day this is happening.
Also right muscle on mid spine of back "tweaked"  on one of the incline pulls.. managed to compelte rest of my workout without problem,. Push-ups & sit ups no issue, but if i try any twisting action with my torso, mt back ain't happy at all. Kinda came out the blue, again not sure whether to be resting this now? Popped some muscle relaxants and hoping just a pinched nerve.

Frustrating - really felt i was progeressing well with the program and its been getting a lot easier as time has gone by. taken some muscle relaxants and hoping for the best

  1. yeah man getting pretty tight in the calves as well, think i'll keep battling through and trying to stretch them, but wondering if there's something else i can do for a couple of days though instead of them..

  2. Take it easy, make sure you stretch properly, and don't focus on the toes when jumping. As far as your back goes, make sure you move around enough, both during the day, and pre/post workout. Allow your body to stretch before stressing it so hard.

Don't worry man, your body is just getting used to being stressed so hard. Usually this kind of thing goes away in 3-4 weeks. Obviously, if there's REAL pain, stop the workout, and take a break. If it's just workout pain, keep going.
